About the role


As the Leisure and Lifestyle Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative programs across 14 VMCH aged care residences.

This includes developing and designing relevant assessments, procedures, and other documents to ensure our programs are compliant in accordance with Aged Care Standards.

You will work closely with the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinators located at each of our sites to tailor activities and programs so that they are relevant and enjoyable for our culturally diverse residents.

In addition, the Leisure and Lifestyle Manager will manage the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinators and their teams in the provision of lifestyle services based on the Montessori principles.


About you


You have previous experience as a Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator within an aged care setting and the ability to lead and develop teams.

Motivated and determined, you have an inclusive and inspirational leadership style and understand the importance of cultivating a positive workplace culture.

You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly develop effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

You are extremely organised and have demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines while juggling competing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Diversional
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Proficiency in Health Care/Aged Care information systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
