Our professional and easy-going Wahroonga-based family is searching for an experienced nanny who is reliable, gentle, kind, tidy and with a happy personality to provide their child with high-quality care.

The ideal nanny is friendly and excited to spend time with the child and should be able to help keep the home in order while the parent is working full-time.

It is essential that the nanny possess strong experience working with children of a similar age.

Upon arriving, the nanny will start by taking the dogs for a walk.

The nanny will also be responsible for light household chores such as washing, folding and ironing the child's clothes and tidying the child's room, changing linen, and running errands such as grocery shopping, etc.

The nanny will prepare afternoon snacks and lunch for school the next day.


In the afternoons, the nanny will pick up the child from school, provide some after-school snacks, assist with homework and reading, play games or engage in activities with him, and help him prepare for extracurricular activities.

The household has two tiny dogs. The nanny will walk the dogs and take them to the groomer (once every 2 months).

The successful nanny will be provided with a relaxed and happy working environment, a lovely home, and complete trust.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Planning fun educational and ageappropriate activities with the child
  • Building a strong relationship with the child
  • Meal preparation
  • Managing household chores
  • Pick up from school and take him to activities
  • Overnight stays may require when a parent travels for work
  • Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
  • Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children
To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

  • A non-smoker
  • Swimming is preferred
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Support the parent who works from home and office hybrid.
  • A minimum of 5+ years experience working with children
  • A minimum of 2 Australianbased childrelated references
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
  • Current National Criminal Record Check
  • Excellent communication skills
