About the Role


Part of the Department of Enterprise, Industry and Trade cluster, Create NSW focusses specifically on achieving the NSW Government's priority of fostering excellence in arts, screen and culture in NSW.

We work collaboratively with artists and arts workers, the arts and cultural sector and our partners within government to provide a range of support services including management of grants of varying scales to recipient government and non-government organisations; overseeing more than $2.5b in cultural infrastructure projects to create the spaces where arts can flourish; and managing a portfolio of arts and heritage properties predominantly leased to cultural organisations.


Screen NSW focusses on assisting, promoting and strengthening the screen industry in NSW to promote Australia's cultural identity, encourage employment in all aspects of screen production, stimulate investment in the sector, amplify the industry's export potential, encourage innovation and enhance quality in the industry.


Screen NSW consists of four collaborative teams including Investment; Production Attraction and Incentives; Industry and Audience Development; and Post, Digital & Visual Effects (PDV).

Through its funding programs and skilled staff, Screen NSW:

- supports the screen production sector to make quality projects that create jobs and grow stable businesses in NSW
- provides advice and information to improve capability in the sector and enable industry practitioners to participate in the global industry
- funds and promotes new forms of screen content and use of technology
- collaborates with industry to create opportunities; and
- facilitates all aspects of filming in NSW to make it the most attractive state for screen production


The Manager Strategy, PDV & Digital Games drives the strategic implementation, delivery and continual improvement of initiatives related to Post, Digital and Visual effects and Digital Games.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the shaping of arts, screen and culture across the state.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the assessment process for the Post, Digital and Visual effects rebate program and make appropriate recommendations
  • Manage the collection, analysis and utilisation of data that ensures evidencebased decision making
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships in the sector and provide accurate and timely advice to international and domestic producers and local PDV and games businesses regarding the PDV rebate and related programs

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess sound knowledge of the arts, culture and screen sectors
  • Have significant experience in funding assessments and related contracts administration in a complex, dynamic and multifaceted environment
  • Deliver on multiple tasks concurrently and accurately in a fast paced environment with mínimal direction and supervision
  • Be flexible, responsive and a great communicator and collaborator
  • Have great administrative skills, be detail oriented and possess exceptional project management skills
