The role:

We are seeking an individual who will act as the linchpin between our delivery teams and business stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that Bupa is developing and endorsing the appropriate Health Insurance Products with our Delivery Teams, all the while assuring that these products are being crafted in the right manner.

To excel in this position, you must possess collaboration skills, be centered on values, and possess a profound comprehension of the intricate technical ecosystems and tools necessary to achieve outcomes with data, operating within intricate, uncertain, and demanding scenarios while interacting with senior executives.

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical BA.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with SQL, SAS and/or Data Bricks.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid delivery approaches for technology development, encompassing agile methodologies, waterfall delivery, and lean, utilizing various techniques such as use cases, process mapping, user stories, etc.

This role is a 12-month Fixed-term Contract or Secondment position located in Melbourne.

We foster a collaborative environment, typically working at the Melbourne office in the CBD once a week, allowing for the convenience of remote work for the remaining days of the week.

How will I contribute?

You will bring value by:

  • Implementing a structured methodology for capturing scope and requirements, covering aspects like business processes, information flow, user experience, etc., and ensuring work quality and endorsement by stakeholders.
  • Engaging in business analysis tasks for intricate initiatives, mostly in the conceptual stage, to influence and mold the solution roadmap by presenting essential, desirable, and potential requirements and collaborating with the solution architect to provide solution alternatives and trade-off analyses.
  • Participating in complex data analysis to support business rules, business needs, and testing outcomes.
  • Ensuring the consistent use of SQL, Data Bricks, and SAS across the team to drive quality outcomes and achievements.
