JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to enhance our exceptional F&B team at Chapter & Verse on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient, friendly, and professional service for all guests
  • Deliver a warm and welcoming service to our guests
  • Become a knowledgeable expert on the hotel to offer guests a dynamic service experience
  • Engage with guests on a personal level, providing experiences beyond their expectations
  • Assist guests with menu options, dietary needs, and recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy in fulfilling requests, orders, and service
  • Utilize POS system effectively
  • Maintain stock levels of ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Keep all service areas impeccably clean
  • Promote safety and adhere to WHS practices

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Prior experience in food & beverage service is highly desirable
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA)
  • Exhibit a positive, can-do attitude
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Barista skills are advantageous
  • Knowledge of beverages is desirable
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role

Supervisory Experience: None required

License or Certification: Not mandatory
