Melbourne, Victoria, Australia IPA Personnel Services Full time

Our client who is in the Exhibition and Events industry is looking for a well presented Receptionist with Events experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be operating the front desk of the office, as the first point of contact.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Meet and greet clients
  • Collection and processing of office correspondence;
  • Placing orders and maintenance of office supplies
  • Maintaining client records and databases;
  • Organising bookings
  • Distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Providing admin support to team members
  • General filing, archiving and scanning of documentation
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy front office, meeting rooms and kitchen

Skill and experience:

  • Experience in a reception/administration role
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Great organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Professional phone manner
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • High level of initiative, attention to details and willingness to learn
  • Strong background in using Microsoft Office software
  • Must be an Australian citizen and or Permanent resident
To be successful in this role you must has proven Reception experience.

You must be friendly and have an outgoing personality and be engaging to customers & clients over the phone and face to face.

You must have exceptional presentation skills and have excellent organisation and time management skills. You must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
