As part of our Land & Aerospace group, the Bid Manager will be providing winning proposals and successfully negotiating contracts for the execution of future L&A programs for Saab Australia.

As required, manage internal and delivery projects as a secondary duty.

Further, the successful candidate will:

Plan and manage pre-tender and tender response activities In collaboration with functional areas, manage and provide responses to market solicitations and, where required Survey & Quote and Contract Change Proposals.

Ensure a high quality tender response is produced and delivered on time according to the agreed budget in accordance with the Australian and New Zealand contracting requirements Coordinate both Australian and international elements of the bid team (technical, commercial, pricing etc.)Act as the Saab point of contact during tender evaluation and coordinate negotiation teams Provide project management services to existing and new projects.

Flexible work arrangements such as 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you Your skills and experience will include: Demonstrated ability to lead staff within a team environment and to foster cooperation within and between teams.

Proven ability in internal and external customer liaison.
Experience in producing and reviewing project documentation.
Demonstrated scheduling and planning skills.
Excellent negotiation and interrelationship skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multi-disciplined, multi-party environment.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
