We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our team as
Inventory Assistant.

The role requires someone with great attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate and efficient management and control of raw materials and stock.
The role would be full time working 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of weekly scheduled Inventory Counts including raw materials (primary focus) and online stock (when required).
  • Maintain product identification and locations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
  • Accurately and efficiently managing Raw Materials Transfer Orders and Finished Goods stock between company locations, including put away of stock into production or Online Inventory physically.
  • Accurately and efficiently managing Transfer Orders (movement of stock) between company locations.
  • Unload shipments, material handling and movement of stock to designated storage racks or inspection areas.
  • Receiving of Purchase Orders for Online Stock and Raw Materials as required.
  • Count / Check and Review items into company using Goods Receiving Process.
  • Provide and correct supplier invoice to PO variances, reporting if outside agreed values.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse, disposal of cardboard and packaging.
  • Organize inventory for easy access.
  • Collect stock from GC Showroom and HQ in Burleigh Heads valid driver's license is required.

Essential Knowledge/Behaviours:

  • Current Australian driving license
  • Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with industry recognized business systems, NetSuite, SAP or similar
  • Intermediate computer skills and MS office knowledge
  • Comfortable in working independently on tasks as well as contributing to team activities and meetings
  • Be able to follow instructions and work with a sense of safety and reliability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with paper orders and receipts
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, ability to lift, bend and pull heavy items.

Desired Knowledge/Behaviours:

  • 23 years in a similar inventory control role
  • Forklift operator's license preferable
