About the role

This part-time (0.85FTE, 64.6 hours per fortnight) English teacher position is covering Long Service Leave in Term July to October However, there may be opportunities for ongoing employment with the school beyond that subject to performance and availability.

About you

  • You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with NESA.
  • You are enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You're willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of growth as a teacher.
  • You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character needed to succeed beyond school.
  • You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview.
  • You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
  • Be part of a faith community that shares regular devotions and prayer with a focus on building one another up for the work of the Gospel.
  • Enjoy professional development, high levels of collaboration and support amongst a national group of schools.
  • Successful candidates will join a skilled, supportive and vibrant teaching team.
