Medical Receptionist / Assistant Manager position
Join our award-winning healthcare center in East Perth as a Medical Receptionist and advance to Assistant Manager. You'll train in East Perth and transition to our new clinic in West Perth in mid-2024.

We're seeking another team super star with:

  • A solid 7 year working history
  • Experience working as a medical receptionist minimum 2 year
  • A warm and friendly demeanor and bubbly personality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent phone manner and a polished, professional presentation.
  • The ability to thrive in a fastpaced, think on your feet environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and topnotch customer service skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Proven experience in customerfacing reception roles, especially within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and lightningfast typing skills
  • Experience with practice management software essential (experience with Cliniko is highly advantageous).
  • Ability to work everyday either on our morning or afternoon shift during our opening hours.
  • Not ideally suited to university students

Morning (7am-1:30pm)

Afternoon (1pm-7pm)

Sat and Sunday mornings.(occassional)

Key Responsibilities:

As the welcoming face of our clinic, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the seamless delivery of patient service and care.
  • Greeting patients and checking them in.
  • Ensuring patients are booked in for their next appointment.
  • Handling forms, referrals, and payments with precision (utilizing HICAPS machine).
  • Opening/closing procedures as well as maintaining general cleanliness of clinic.
  • Communicating with the practitioners and other admin throughout your shift via Microsoft Teams.
  • Handling, scanning and filing intake forms and other documents.
  • Getting rooms ready for practitioners.
  • Assisting with implementing proceedures
  • Supporting management in tasks
  • Occasional executive assistant tasks to director and management
  • Completing tasks assigned to you via Teams or Outlook from practitioners and management in a timely manner.
