The Housing Industry Association is Australia's peak private sector building industry body, representing builders, trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and related industry participants.

As a national industry organisation, HIA's primary role is to represent and advance the interests of its members.

The role


Working as part of the Digital team, the Digital Producer is primarily responsible for managing, maintaining and updating content on the website.


Key responsibilities include:

The Digital Producer is responsible for creating exceptional online experiences for HIA's members, customers and visitors, looking for ways to improve the digital user experience:

  • Creating engaging reader-friendly web pages to enrich the user experience
  • Ensuring the website is accurate and up to date
  • Turning complex, ambiguous briefs into clear digital outputs
  • Being a Sitecore specialist and contributing to digital guidelines and web standards
  • Working with the business to enable website campaigns, initiatives and optimisation activities.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual who can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Digital Producer in an agile environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and English language skills (punctuation, spelling and grammar).
  • Understanding of, and basic skills in, HTML and CSS along with JIRA/Confluence.
  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding userexperience.
  • Experience using content management systems to publish content.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills with the ability to communicate with a mix of personalities.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
Tertiary qualifications in a related field and experience using 'Sitecore' will be viewed favorably.
