In this role, you'll:
be a key contributor to a high performing team within our Greater Sydney Division.

Transport for NSW is undertaking a program of work (RAISI) to migrate multiple road asset and maintenance systems in to one central solution.

A key part of the centralisation will be the provision of Geospatial Systems Information maps to support our linear asset information.

The Geospatial Information Systems Lead (GIS) will be responsible for the architectural design, development and technical implementation of Geospatial Information System solutions for the project.

In this role you will oversee technical review and assurance documentation, whilst developing processes and data schemas to manage information on the new system (SAP).

This is a complex and transformative project - career defining with a huge variety of different Geospatial data sources to work with.

You will be future proofing the way in which Transport for NSW manages and values our road asset portfolio, for years to come.

The position is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until the 31/01/2026 and is based at Macquarie Park with Hybrid work arrangements (2-3 days a week in the office).

Tuesday is your office anchor day, but office days could extend up to 5 days a week to meet project timelines.

About you You are a Geospatial expert who has extensive experience in Geospatial architectural design and the development and implementation of GIS specifications, standards, procedures, and technology.

You will have worked on similar projects in the past.

You will be a strong and confident communicator, as this role requires you liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to drive timely and accurate project outcomes.

Previous experiencing within Engineering, Transport or Utility industries is advantageous but not essential.
