The Role


Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products.

The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year - receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.


We are looking for a new production operator that will ensure all functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner.

Operators in this role may be required to change tasks throughout the Shift depending on labour demand, including but not limited to:
alternating filling machines, cleaning, and stores.

Please note, this role works on day shift, Monday to Friday, 5am start to 1pm finish. This roster also includes Saturday work which you must be available to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe setup and operation of all filler lines and equipment
  • Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues
  • Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation
  • Work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime
  • Training staff and assisting with assessment as required
  • Collaboration with Cross Functional teams
About you- Experience in a Production Operator role or similar, FMCG or food manufacturing background desirable- Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to develop- Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team- Basic computer literacy skills- Commitment to teamwork and safe working practices
