What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous peoples, histories and cultures to inform practice, priorities and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting Indigenous Students in higher education.
  • Demonstrated high level administrative skills using digital technologies to develop, implement and maintain programs.
  • Demonstrated capacity to interpret policy and guidelines.
  • High level interpersonal skills including the ability to connect and collaborate with a diverse range of people at all levels in a professional manner, and within a team environment.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write a diverse range of materials including reports, submissions, minutes, briefing papers and guidelines.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with demonstrated ability to successfully complete work tasks
