In this role, you'll:

Work as part of the Network Maintenance Track Engineering team, in an important role that supports the achievement of the Track discipline and operational objectives.

Provide technical advice and reporting, ensure the technical integrity of track assets, and compliance to associated engineering standards.
Be part of a team taking responsibility of a varied network within the region.

You'll have exposure to a high-volume metropolitan rail network, rail management within 30 T axle routes, and working within environmentally sensitive areas.

This role is critical in supporting safety and reliability of train services (both passenger and freight).

It deals with internal and external stakeholders, maintains documentation, creates and updates reports, attends site for verification checks, and more.

This is a permanent position, predominantly based at Gosford NSW and there is the expectation of some travel within the region (North Strathfield to Newcastle and Waverton to Hornsby).

You are someone with extensive experience in a track maintenance environment.
Qualifications are great, but demonstrated experience matters most.
In addition to the above, you have strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and relevant technical knowledge.
You will need sound computer proficiency and experience with MS Office Suite, and ideally SAP.
