This role sits within the Corporate Functions, which is responsible for ensuring the department is fit for purpose in order to deliver on the government's significant priorities.

Their key focus is to effectively establish the organisation and ensure the department has a strong and well supported workforce with the capability and capacity to deliver on the government's climate change and energy agenda and protect Australia's environment and water resources.


The Opportunity:


This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic newly established team and contribute to the development and delivery of the departments Employee Experience Program at the APS6/EL1 level.


Within this role you will have the opportunity to manage projects, coordinate and analyse department surveys, analyse data and information, and provide reports to inform management.


The Role:


As the APS6/EL1 HR Advisor, you will develop and maintain project documentation including status reports and implementation plans, whilst supporting the Employee Experience Program Manager.

Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing stakeholders, preparing communications to stakeholders, and responding to stakeholder enquiries
  • Providing general support for communication and engagement activities across business areas
  • Analysing data and information and providing reports to inform management
  • Providing general support in developing Employee Experience Program initiatives
  • Coordinating and analysing department surveys

The Ideal Person:


To be successful in this role you will be a driven and experienced HR professional with a proven track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.

You will possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail and are passionate about driving the development and delivery of employee experience initiatives.


You likely thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across business areas and you are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes and have a strong focus on achieving results.


Salary / Rate:

- $90k - $124k + 15.4% Super

  • 12 month nonongoing contract with options to extend
