The Service Operations team supports our corporate applications throughout their lifecycle.The opportunity we have available We are seeking a Business Application Developer and Platform Manager the successful candidate(s) will be senior member(s) of a small team managing the day to day maintenance, development, sustainment and support of a wide range of business applications and platforms.
You will work closely with other teams within the Department to deliver technological advice and solutions covering the entire portfolio of corporate applications to deliver high quality IT services for the Department.
The key duties of the position include:
You will be expected to: Provide technical leadership, providing technical advice to colleagues and Senior Executive Manage demand and prioritising the workloads in consultation with the Director of ICT Operations.
Work closely with the department's IT Security team to ensure that the department is not exposed to unacceptable IT security risk Focus on continuous improvement for the department's IT systems, procedures and practises.

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance at Negative Vetting 1 Level. You must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information.
You must have lived in Australia, or have a checkable background, for at least the preceding five years for Baseline Vetting clearances.
