About The Organization:
A prominent government department is seeking motivated professionals to join a dynamic team as a EL1 ICT Change Manager within the Salesforce Program. This department promotes and protects the nation's international interests to support security and prosperity, working collaboratively with global partners to address challenges, enhance trade and investment opportunities, and support citizens abroad.

Role Overview:
As a EL1 ICT Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing business and change activities to ensure the effective delivery of business capabilities within the Salesforce Program. Working closely with senior leadership, you will apply your expertise in project and change management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 Months + 2 terms of 12 Months
Requirements:

  • Must have an ACTIVE NV1
  • Selection Criteria response


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver change management strategies and plans for the Salesforce Program.
  • Collaborate with project teams to execute change management plans across stakeholders, including communications, stakeholder management, user engagement, and implementation support.
  • Lead the development and delivery of communication management strategies and plans.
  • Develop change management plans and structures, including templates, to guide stakeholders in developing their own internal change management plans.
  • Provide regular reports to nominated managers/executives and attend project meetings as required.


Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Organizational Change Manager role within a large and complex IT organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of organizational change management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci, or ACMP.
  • Ability to work from the Canberra office at least 3 working days/week.
  • Willingness to travel for face-to-face meetings in Canberra (or more often as required) at own cost for interstate candidates.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiarity with accessibility principles and enthusiasm for accessible design and development.
  • Experience working with secure government systems.
  • Experience in a complex global ICT environment.
  • Qualifications and/or accreditation in Change Management (ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci, ACMP).
  • Experience with project management systems, tools, and processes in Agile and Waterfall environments (DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project).
