Ozcare's home care assistance supports our clients to live independently and safely in their own homes for as long as they can.

Ozcare's team of carers, nurses, dementia advisors, allied health professionals and case managers work together to support our clients with a wide range of services delivered in their home or in the community, funded through various Commonwealth and State funded programmes.


Your Role

  • Based in our North Lakes office and reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day to day management and delivery of health programs and support services by Assistant Coordinators, Care Assistants and In Home Support Workers to clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for coaching support to employees with the goal of fostering an organisation which promotes employee engagement, dynamic communication and service integration. _

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coaching support to employees and volunteers, with the goal of fostering an organisation which promotes employee engagement, dynamic communication, and service integration.
  • Coordinate and manage services delivering a holistic approach to Service delivery, which focuses on the assessed needs and rights of the client.
  • Monitor the evaluation of service provision through planned reviews and regular needs assessment involving clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams as appropriate.
  • In consultation with the Branch Manager, ensure client services are provided in an environment of continuous quality improvement reablement focused care, support and innovation.
  • Support Branch Manager's monthly review with the Business Operations Manager of Branch Operations, ensuring ongoing operational viability.

Role Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive management experience preferably in a community service/health organisation
  • Well developed understanding of financial management
  • Strong understanding of the Community Care industry and the operational requirements of a Community Care Branch
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's management and Community Care systems
  • Current Queensland Driver's License
  • First aid and CPR certificate required within one month of commencement
  • Be vaccinated (and maintain uptodate vaccinations) Covid1
  • Vaccination against Influenza is strongly recommended
  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current National Police Check, prior to commencement
