Your Opportunity

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Communications Manager this role will responsible for providing support for store communications and retail events. This is a 12 month secondment facilitating communications distributed to stores and field teams, evaluating accuracy of content, timing, and recommending changes to achieve intended results.

Be a key member of the Store Operations Team by contributing to the success of the team's projects, programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Together with the Senior Communications Manager, manage the internal communications platforms between Support Office and retail teams.
  • Take ownership of providing solutions for issues raised in relation to communication platforms (Smartly, SharePoint) via Service Desk.
  • Work with the Operations Support Team in the maintenance of information, materials, and documents directly linked to the success of retail operations.
  • Provide support in the creation of Purchase Orders, new vendors and vendor maintenance, and liaise with suppliers and vendors as directed;
  • Work directly with crossfunctional teams to coordinate and support communications to the Field and Store Teams for all banners.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of retail team events across all banners.

Experience Required

  • Tertiary qualification desirable with a minimum of 2 years of retail experience in an office setting or in a retail store setting.
  • Basic understanding of retail operations management and/or customer service in a retail setting.
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly, with an understanding of the audience to convey messages to others with the desired impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proofreading and editing skills in Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously while working under strict deadlines.
  • Detail orientation and ability to pick up on technical things quickly and translate into easytounderstand store directives.
  • Strong relationships skills and to work collaboratively crossfunctionally.
