About the Job

The Role

We are looking to establish a pool of suitable candidates to provide assistance with the coordination of the Public Transport Authority's (PTA) and OMTID Program and Project reporting from concept to delivery and commissioning. The Reporting Officers work closely with the Project Director, Delivery Teams and various stakeholders to generate and maintain the Program's / Project's information and data management requirements.

In this position you will collate and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual Project and Program reporting, and respond to ad hoc data requests while ensuring required reviews are undertaken. You will analyse, evaluate, report, and advise on Project performance by identifying trends and issues and raising them with management for resolution.

About you

The successful candidates will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and negotiate required outcomes and/or resolve conflicts.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Relevant technical expertise, including:
    • Appropriate skills and experience in the coordination and production of Project and Program management reports.
    • Demonstrated experience with data manipulation and reporting applications such as Microsoft PowerBI.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e.Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within a Project and Contract Management environment with an understanding in the basic principles of Project scheduling, Risk management and Scope and change management and key procurement activities.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, with highly developed accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing demands within a project environment.

Pool

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which permanent or fixed term appointments with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency will be made. Currently there are two (2) full time fixed term positions available until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of further extensions and/or permanency.
