This transformation will ensure we continue to support the needs of individuals and communities, now and into the future.- The General Manager Purchasing will be accountable for the development and implementation of strategy and initiatives that will lower the costs of prosthetics and supply used across UnitingCare Hospital's, ensuring efficient and effective contracting, supply and billing processes are in place without compromising our high-quality care and patient outcomes.- Establishing relationships with key Hospital Executives, Clinicians and Theatre Managers, you will ensure an understanding of commercial issues effecting clinical decisions for the use of consumable, prosthetics and implantable devices.- This role will be based predominately across our Corporate Office and on-site at our Brisbane Metro Hospitals, with occasional travel to our Sunshine and Fraser Coast Hospital sites.


About You:

  • To be successful you will need:
  • Degree qualified in health related or business\operational management
  • Extensive theatre nursing operational experience
  • Experience engaging with VMPs and Senior Hospital Executives
  • Experience in prosthetics management
  • Previous system implementation
  • Data analytics
