  • Incorporating all aspects of nursing care in the rural setting while demonstrating the foundational elements of the Central West Professional Practice Model Nurses and Midwives.
  • Clinical coordination of clinical care of the community, including acute and chronic illness.
  • Advocating for the community's health care needs by active consultation to ensure service provision meets the community needs.

Location:
Bedourie, Birdsville, Boulia, Isisford, Jundah, Muttaburra, Aramac, Tambo & Windorah.
This process will be used to fill vacancies at all Primary Health Centre's within Central West HHS.

To be successful candidates will be a Registered Nurse who demonstrates: Competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care.

Clinical expertise and proven operational management for remote area facility.
Capacity to deliver health services across geographically diverse environments and population groups.
Personal resilience to operate professionally and to work collaboratively with internal and external staff and stakeholders.
We prioritise staff development and opportunities to experience new roles.
