About the Opportunity

As the Senior Strategic Campaigns and Projects Advisor, you will spearhead essential communications campaigns and projects to elevate public awareness of the Mitchell Shire Council's diverse services, programs, and initiatives. Your role is pivotal in strategically showcasing Council's major projects, crafting top-level narratives, and ensuring impactful messaging across all strategic communications endeavors.

This permanent, full-time role includes a Monthly ADO. Remuneration ranges from $96.3K to $107.6K (Band 7) plus superannuation.

About You

We seek a dynamic individual with:

  • Proven expertise in planning, developing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive communications strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive background in media relations and stakeholder management.
  • The ability to solve complex problems and devise innovative solutions.

Your capacity to navigate and lead in times of change, along with a collaborative approach and a drive to make a positive impact, will position you as an ideal candidate for this role.
