About the Role**We're seeking an experienced
Communications Manager to work collaboratively across all MLA business units and with external parties to ensure coordinated, consistent and high-quality delivery of all communications. The role involves providing expert communications advice and professional communication services.


Taking a lead role in planning and reviewing communications materials, you will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of MLA research, development, and marketing by delivering strategic communication campaigns that foster success in the Australian red meat and livestock industry.


_Our ideal Communications Manager will need to:_

  • Support the Strategic Communications Manager to drive the implementation of MLA's communications strategy, targeted to meet the needs of MLA's members and stakeholders and the achievement of MLA's mission and priorities.
  • Deliver communications content to the highest standard and to deadline, with regular review to ensure its quality, relevance and value to stakeholders.
  • Deliver lasting yet timely impacts in the Australian red meat and livestock industry by developing and implementing endtoend execution of strategic communication campaigns for major MLA projects, new initiatives and other priority projects.
  • Maintain a close understanding of MLA's members and other stakeholders and assist the development, implementation and use of new communication tools and techniques for delivering relevant information and supporting adoption.
  • Support the communications requirements of RD&A initiatives.
