About the company:

Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a talented Complaints Officer to join their busy team for an 12-month temporary assignment.

About the role:


As Complaints Officer, you will communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.


In addition, key duties include:

  • Managing complaints coming into the agency
  • Assessing, recording, resolving and referring as required
  • Managing escalated complaints and working to strict deadlines
  • Drafting and sending high quality written correspondence
  • Coordinating correspondence, briefing and reporting functions

About you:

  • Previous experience of responding to complaints both over the phone and written
  • Government background is a must
  • Extensive experience of dealing with escalations and associated investigations
  • Strong communication skills both over the phone and written
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry and record keeping skills

Benefits:

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)

 Full time hours
  • Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day
  • Adelaide CBD location
