Summary of the role:

  • As part of a newly formed Transformation team at Mercy Health, the Program Manager will be critical in supporting the entire Healthy Ageing leadership team to design and deliver a new operating model aligned to the changing needs of the Aged Care sector
  • The primary purpose/focus of the Program Manager role is to lead the program of transformation projects across the Healthy Ageing portfolio in collaboration with the business to deliver transformational change in the way that Mercy Health delivers customer and community outcomes, financial sustainability, operating effectiveness, and the workplace experience for its people
  • The Program Manager will lead a project team to deliver on business changes including, extensive stakeholder engagement activities to improve existing organisational structure, existing business services and service delivery mechanisms, existing business processes and where required, the introduction of automation using technology solutions.
  • The role is full time, permanent, located at Mercy Health's Support Services Office in Richmond with the option of flexible working arrangements.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Ideally you will have a hold a relevant degree, for example, business management, project management, health or related field and prior experience 5+ years relevant to Program Management and/or Transformation delivery.
  • Experienced in creating and managing program/project schedules, budgets, and reporting. In addition, able to coordinate and monitor crossproject activities, interconnected project activities and program/project dependencies.
  • Ability to drive and support the identification, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues across the program.
  • Have the relevant skills to support the team to methodically investigate, analyse, review and document business functions, processes, information and/or data. Be able to lead the team in definition of business requirements for improving processes and systems, reduce their costs and quantify business benefits.
  • Can manage Senior Stakeholder Relationships during design, management, and implementation of business changes.
  • Experienced with leading and collaborating with others for the purpose of largescale business change.
  • Possess a high standard of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience within the Aged Care sector will be highly valued.
