About the role


The construction team is based at our head office in Bellevue and will be required to travel to multiple client sites to deliver new tank construction and/or lifecycle services.

This position will be offered on a casual basis, reporting to our Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of new tank construction, refurbishment and replacement projects meeting specification and client requirements;
  • Construction tasks inclusive of site preparations, handling tank panels, operating jacks, bolting and taping, installing tank liners, fittings, accessories and fixing roofing and flashings.
  • Monitor and resolve project issues and perform actions as directed by the Construction Site Supervisor/ Project Manager;
  • Project a professional company image while representing Pioneer Water Tanks on site;
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements on site and look out for the safety of the Construction team;
  • Proactively share information and process knowledge across the team.

Skills and experience

  • Attainment of relevant tickets and licences (e.g. working at heights, confined spaces, forklift, EWP, scaffolding etc)
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for tank installations;
  • Desire to take initiative and work as part of a team;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Previous experience in tank installation, or similar sheds or silos will be highly regarded.
