The Software group is looking for DevOps Engineer who are highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technologies to join our growing team to change the way the world interacts with security screening systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop standalone Ubuntu installer to deploy ScanOS product
  • Integrate standalone installer build process into existing Jenkins and Bitbucket build pipelines
  • Create and maintain Software BOM
  • Assist local and remote staff with deployments
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications

Skills:

  • Excellent teamworking and communication skills
  • Knowledge of programming languages, Python, C++, JavaScript (React)
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems, Ubuntu
  • Knowledge of Networking, incl Docker networking
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.

OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
