Must be an Australian Citizen Mentor other team members - Hybrid work (2 days in the office in SYD CBD) $1,000 to $1,150/day - Varied AWS and Azure cloud migration projects About the role Our client, a large Government Agency, has embarked on a Cloud migration journey and is looking for Senior Dev Ops Engineers to join their Cloud Dev Ops Engineering team.

This is a large and exciting program of work which includes Cloud migration (mostly to AWS) and Apps optimization projects.

Opportunity to work on latest techs and mentor more junior Dev Ops Engineers in that team.
Long term contract of 1-2-3 years - Projects will kick off in the new financial year, from July/August 2024).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN Strong knowledge across AWS Cloud environments Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and building cloud infrastructure, including knowledge with multi/cross account deployments Sound knowledge of Systems (Linux & Windows) and Networking technologies Strong Python and/or Bash scripting skills Proficient in CICD tools and technologies including Octopus, Puppet, Git, or Azure Dev Ops Strong experience working with Kubernetes, Containers and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) (Terraform mostly) Analyze trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability Ability to contribute and lead IT projects and work collaboratively with other IT teams to implement new cloud technologies Ability to guide and mentor more junior team members.
