Client Executive


Aon Affinity specialises in developing, marketing, and administering customised insurance programs and specialty market solutions for affinity organisations and their members or affiliates.

Reporting into and supporting our Equine Client Manager.

Your team is responsible for servicing our existing Equine portfolio and impacting new business growth.

You will support clients to deal with thier insurance online and follow up with the pipeline of potential clients regarding their interest in Aon's services and solutions converting to new business.


You will focus on educating clients on risk and insurance products, submitting, and brokering business, presenting, and closing opportunities and servicing accounts.

What the day will look like

  • Managing a client portfolio, handling all ongoing client's insurance/risk needs
  • Ensuring all client needs are identified and met by taking a proactive approach to all aspects of service delivery, account management and account retention
  • Providing consistent client updates and replies within agreed service timeframes
  • Managing an ongoing sales pipeline through inbound, warm and proactive leads
  • In a consultative client approach, providing suitable education on additional Aon products and services where applicable and within your authority
  • Assist with complex client queries / complaint issues
  • Negotiating with Insurers and clients on risks outside of underwriting guidelines
  • Understanding client financials and providing appropriate support regarding debt management, payment enquiries and settlements
  • Understanding, and complying with, regulated processes and systems
  • Complete daily client administration tasks and updates for our online filing system according to Aon service standards
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to ensure service standards are exceeded
  • Working to achieve individual and team financial targets

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Comparable client servicing or sales experience
  • Equine or Property Insurance experience would be highly regarded
  • Strong experiences using software programs, such as MS (Outlook), Winbeat, Officetech and any CRM
  • Tier 1 accreditation/Insurance Broking qualifications preferred, (if you're not qualified enrolment into Tier 1 will be arranged on commencement of this role)
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to connect with people and build trust
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and show initiative
  • Analyze information and data, to identify opportunities and prioritize
  • Driven towards setting and achieving goals and making a difference
  • Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed
  • Sales mindset and ability to make a connection with clients (Sales)
