Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Review requests received from customers and liaise with internal staff regarding technical requirements.
- Prepare parts for service jobs.
- Ordering of items to fill orders and maintain stock from vendors.
- Manage international shipping and delivery of parts to customers and from vendors.
- Monitor outstanding orders and follow up vendors to meet delivery dates.
- Look for opportunities to improve system and reduce paperwork.
- Carry out quality checks of expensive or complicated manufactured parts.
- Maintain min/max stock levels.
- Checking and resolving issues with outstanding invoices from vendors.
- Review all freight invoices and vouchers to ensure correcting charged for each shipment & jobs.
- Assist with processing of the Service departments purchasing needs.
Your profile and qualifications:
- To be successful, you will have strong attention to detail and be competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel) as well as possess previous experience in CRM and ERP systems, ordering and item maintenance. Good communications skills (written and verbal) and an ability to multitask are a must.
- Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read dimensional manufacturing drawings would be highly advantageous.
