About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced QCT registered Primary Teacher to join the John Paul College community on a full-time basis commencing Term Three, 2024.

This role will have a responsibility for planning relevant and engaging learning experiences, demonstrating a high level of curriculum knowledge, using appropriate assessment tools, and tracking student progress through the College's online management system.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to develop inclusive learning environments, foster positive relationships and to communicate with staff, students, and parents in a timely and respectful manner.

Applicants will be willing to participate in and attend staff meetings, curriculum evenings and parent teacher interviews.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organisational and management skills and competent use of ICT in classroom practice
  • A Current QTC Registration including a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A current first aid certificate and CPR
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
