At AFH, as we expand, we are seeking like-minded financial advisers to join our team. Join a progressive and client-focused wealth management firm as a self-employed or employed adviser.

In this position, you will comprehend your clients' current and future financial objectives and create clear financial strategies to lead them towards financial independence.

This role allows for home-based/remote work with the option of office access if desired, along with the expectation of attending face-to-face client meetings.

Key Responsibilities as our Independent Financial Adviser will include:

  • Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and provide excellent client outcomes.
  • Assessing and addressing clients' evolving needs and financial situations, keeping them informed about new financial products and legislative changes that may impact their pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
  • Acquiring and nurturing new business from new/existing clients and professional contacts through personal business planning, referrals, and company-generated leads.
  • Leveraging all available marketing opportunities, including social media and professional networks, to attract new business.
  • Cultivating strong client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and regular feedback.
  • Scheduling meetings with corporate and individual clients, either in-office, at their premises, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of clients' financial situations, analyzing data, conducting research, and preparing tailored financial reports to meet their individual needs.
  • Providing accurate management information upon request.

Qualifications for our ideal Independent Financial Adviser:

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent FCA approval) and maintaining CF30 status as per FCA regulations.
  • Proven client-centric approach with strong communication skills and commitment to clients' best interests.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, professionalism, and adaptability to new digital communication methods.
  • Experience in networking, business development, and client attraction to expand the client base and engage with various client groups.
