We are currently working towards improving our service offering and partnership model for licensees and advisers to enable them an easy and seamless experience when working alongside Uni Super and are excited to be building a new team to do so.

Opportunity As the Manager, Adviser and Licensee Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that fee deductions and technical solutions services provided to our Advisers and Licensees adhere to our policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

This hybrid role combines team management responsibilities with individual contributions, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities1.
Team Management Lead and manage a team of Assurance Specialists responsible for conducting assurance activities.
Monitor advice fee deductions and technical solutions services to ensure compliance with organizational standards.2.
Process Optimization and Automation Track data and contribute to management reporting, providing insights into areas of opportunity and risk.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the assurance team.3.

Adviser & Licensee Assurance Model Development & Implementation Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of assurance processes.
Develop training material to enhance understanding of our services and assurance obligations.
Design and test controls to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.4.
Adviser & Licensee Assurance Services Conduct regular audits and reviews of advisers and licensees, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage resolution and escalation of adviser-facing assurance activities.
Review Technical Solutions function to ensure appropriate advice, training, and capability uplift.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address non-compliance and operational inefficiencies.
Produce relevant risk reporting for management and internal committees.

About You To be successful in this role you will have a strong exposure to different Advice business structures and service models, paired with previous experience managing people in assurance roles.


Furthermore, you will have:
Understanding of financial products, particularly superannuation, and wealth management concepts.
Detailed knowledge of relevant obligations, including the financial advice process, insurance, investments, and provision of advice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with Advisers & Licensees.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Completion of qualifications to satisfy ASIC's RG 146 training standards.
Relevant post-graduate qualifications in risk and assurance and/or financial advice preferred.
