About the Company
RFM manages approximately $2.0 billion of agricultural assets on behalf of retail and institutional investors.

RFM has a depth of experience accumulated over 25 years owning, developing and operating Australian farmland, agricultural infrastructure and other assets.

Sector experience includes almonds, poultry, macadamias, cattle, cropping, viticulture and water. Assets are located throughout New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria.


RFM employs over 180 staff and seeks to maximise returns through its experienced management team including specialist fund managers, finance professionals, horticulturists, agronomists and other agricultural managers.

About the opportunity
We have an opportunity for a permanent analyst to provide support to the Acquisitions and Livestock teams.

This role will include asset acquisition, asset development and management, providing assistance with the provision of information to management, development of financial models and analysis of new and existing businesses and opportunities.

Reporting to the Manager
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
you will:

  • Undertake general administration tasks related to mergers and acquisitions
  • Undertake research, due diligence and analysis for investment opportunities
  • Evaluate existing operations and identifying opportunities to increase investor returns
  • Plan and manage capital development projects for new and existing assets
  • Develop financial modelling, including developing new models and adapting existing models
  • Prepare agreements, proposals and presentations for consideration by senior management and the board
  • Manage various projects under the supervision of the Manager
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Provide business analysis support including spreadsheet preparation
  • Provide research data as required.

Requirements:

What you will need to be successful
To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Agribusiness, Commerce or Business
  • A high level of competency with quantitative problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong ICT literacy skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
