We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Officer to join our team.


In this role, you will work closely with the CFO and business managers to collate, analyse and calculate the value of insurance claims to submit on behalf of GSP entities for the previous 2 financial years.

Pay Rate:
$53.00 per hour + super

Location: 6 PSQ and Centennial Park for 3 days a week with 2 days WFH

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CFO and business managers to collect and analyse data to calculate the value of insurance claims to submit on behalf of GSP entities.
  • Manage all queries and requests from assessors for further information on the insurance claims as necessary.
  • Utilise Excel and SAP to perform data analysis and calculations.
  • Communicate effectively with assessors, business managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Completed or nearly completed degree in Business or Finance is preferable.
  • Experience using Excel and SAP is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams is preferred.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience dealing with insurance claims is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills and processdriven mindset.
