Company Overview


Our client, a large diversified Financial Services provider is experiencing a period of significant growth and associated Finance change and transformation work.


Role Overview


The business is looking for a strong technical Accountant to support them through a range of IFRS standard implementations and other technical change projects.

The role will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and act as a key point of reference for all technical Accounting matters within this team.

Responsibilities include

  • Prepare accounting policies and position papers in relation to IFRS standard changes as applicable to entities within the broader business
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business on the analysis and reporting of impact assessments.
  • Work proactively to ensure operational process changes are delivered to ensure compliance with changing standards
  • Provide broader support to the team in peak period times

Skills & Experience

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting the adoption of new Accounting standards, in particular IFRS 1
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
