Job Title: Premium Account Executive

This is a fantastic opportunity for top performers in sales and relationship management, currently in high-revenue client-facing roles, to join our Premium department at IG. You'll be showcasing your skills in servicing and enhancing the experience for our high-value clients.

The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in client management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to their work. Managing your portfolio of clients to identify sales opportunities, you'll be driven to exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will also include executing client trades and mitigating business risks.

Your Role
  • Deliver outstanding service to high-value clients, the core of our business, while managing client exposure to mitigate risks for the company. This includes trade execution, handling client inquiries, engaging in market discussions, and fostering relationships to solidify client loyalty with IG.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities within your client base by establishing positive relationships, devising reactivation strategies, and expanding your network through existing managed clients and personal connections.
  • Demonstrate and uphold IG's values throughout your role, championing the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, identifying and capitalizing on commercial prospects to maximize the potential of these accounts.
  • Source new business and cultivate relationships to drive business growth for IG through a successful client engagement journey.
  • Execute trades over the phone and hedge client positions through various platforms.
  • Organize and participate in both physical and virtual client events, devising creative strategies to engage and build rapport with clients across different regions in Australia.
  • Provide desk support to the Premium team through administrative duties and assist with handling inbound client queries.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client communications, meetings, and business agreements by documenting them in client databases.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a client-facing/relationship management role, demonstrating consistent performance and exceptional service delivery with a focus on generating new business.
  • Experience managing HNW clients and key accounts, meeting SLAs tailored to this client segment, and addressing any arising complaints effectively.
  • Prior experience in executing client trades in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Familiarity with DMA execution across international markets (ASX, NYSE, LSE, HK) is advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian CFD and leveraged product industry.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills in high-pressure environments are essential.
  • Proficiency in client CRM software systems (preferably Salesforce) and familiarity with client contact systems.
  • Knowledge of trading platforms in the Australian leverage trading market is highly desirable.
