About the role
We're seeking a DCA Compliance Lead who will lead regulatory compliance and risk management within our debt collection processes.
This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on compliance requirements, continuous improvement through audits, manage DCA obligations and engage with external regulators, as needed.
As our DCA Compliance Lead, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Ensure compliance by understanding and managing obligations across stakeholders
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and DCA obligations in Protecht and ARM active risk manager
- Build and evolve processes to maintain high standards, tracking, monitoring and reporting on risks and compliance.
- Present DCA compliance reporting to stakeholders of all levels
- Facilitate DCA training sessions
- Update training records, documentation and processes to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support regular audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Being well-versed in compliance management, preferably in the debt collection industry
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks that govern debt collection
- Ability to extract and analyse data, assess risks and provide sound recommendations and advice
- Able to engage and build rapport with stakeholders of all levels
- Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to think bigger and always look for better solutions and ways of working
