About the role:

This position is responsible for market development and company growth within the Chemical division.

The Sales Manager will direct the sales efforts for the team as well as serve as key account manager for major customers.


The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience leading a sales team, motivating them to achieve objectives and exceed sales targets whilst managing for success and facilitating their professional development.


You will be the bridge between global product managers and the local salespeople, able to think strategically and formulate plans.


Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive experience in the procurement and B2B sale within the chemical industry (Sectors covered include ,Agriculture, Mining, Oil and Gas, Food, Animal feed, Pharmaceutical and Chemical formulation)
  • Supervision experience managing a team of 10 salespeople or more
  • Experience managing supplier and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication verbal and written, interpersonal/relationship development skills and computer literate
