Permanent part time opportunity, the position is responsible for the receiving, interpreting, coordinating, processing and completion of release of information applications requesting clinical and non-clinical information for Redcliffe Hospital.

Responsible for the receiving, interpreting, coordinating, processing and completion of release of information applications requesting clinical and non-clinical information for Redcliffe Hospital in accordance with the State of Queensland and Commonwealth of Australia Legislations, Queensland Health and Metro North Hospital and Health Service policies and Judicial Orders ensuring optimum service delivery outcomes are achieved.

About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Metro North Hospital and Health Service priorities, as outlined above.

Assess and effectively manage requests, within the scope of the Information Access Unit, for clinical and nonclinical information ensuring conformity with state and federal legislation and Hospital and Health Service policies to include the existence of documents held by the Hospital and Health Service.

Identify and prepare relevant documents prior to release and maintain an accurate detailed record and effective follow up system of all requests, correspondence and liaison activities.

Consult and communicate effectively and ethically with internal and external stakeholders to complete

Right to Information Act 2009

(Qld) and

Information Privacy Act 2009

(Qld), Administrative Access and other mechanism applications and requests for information from Redcliffe Hospital in accordance with appropriate legislation and Metro North Hospital and Health Service policies and guidelines.
