The Research and Innovation Division incorporates the Office of Research, Graduate Research School, Research Institutes, Research Centres and various innovation, commercialisation and partnership development functions.

The Research and Innovation Division drives the University's research performance and innovation in areas of strength and priority and builds relationships with industry, government and research institutions through local, national and international research networks to leverage research outcomes and opportunities.


Who you are


We are seeking a driven team member who is committed to service excellence to join the Office of Research Team.

To thrive in this team and this role, you will have strong stakeholder engagement and communications skills as well as the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.

You will have high level analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, assess and address issues.

What will help you succeed

  • A relevant qualification with experience in research grants management and administration;
  • Demonstrated ability to gain knowledge of research grant schemes and conditions applicable to the higher education sector;
  • Knowledge of the wider policy and research environment and demonstrated ability to interpret grant guidelines;
  • Evidence of highlevel attention to detail together with highlevel interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
  • Evidence of highlydeveloped administrative, system, record keeping and project management skills.
