Job Description

In this position, as a support engineer, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues reported by customers seeking assistance in understanding or troubleshooting unexpected behaviors related to the ServiceNow software and platform.

The ideal candidate will focus on delivering exceptional customer support experiences by building trust, showing empathy, and communicating effectively to address inquiries and solve problems using various communication channels such as web, chat, email, and phone support.

Having a solid grasp of the ServiceNow platform and its core functionalities is crucial, along with the ability to utilize diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of issues. The engineer will be expected to efficiently handle and resolve complex problems assigned to them, occasionally requiring collaboration with other teams for intricate cases. Therefore, exhibiting creativity in problem-solving, fostering a collaborative spirit, and displaying flexibility are essential for success in this role.

Furthermore, support engineers will actively contribute insights to different business units regarding process and product enhancements based on their distinct viewpoint gained from addressing technical issues for clients.

Qualifications and technical skills that will lead to success:

  • 0-2+ years' experience in customer-facing technical support
  • Adept at troubleshooting challenging technical issues of varying complexity
  • Proficiency in interpreting basic Java/JavaScript code
  • Dedication to maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service
