We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. This position will be offered on a
full-time, permanent basis.

The purpose of this position is to support the Quality Assurance Manager with implementing the strategic objectives with a whole agency approach to risk management and compliance.

In particular, the Compliance Coordinator will assist with the maintenance and ongoing implementation of St Nicholas Agency's governance, risk, compliance and Work Health and Safety programs.

The role will have a focus on coordinating the St Nicholas agency with their Quality Assurance program.

The incumbent commits to working within Work Health and Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct at all times whilst in the employ of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.


Desired Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • Prior experience and demonstrated understanding of auditing Early Education centres and OOSH services to ensure they are meeting all quality areas to a high standard
  • Ability to manage complex situations including matters of escalation

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence
  • National Criminal History check clearance
Desirable

  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
Qualification or demonstrated experience in process improvement and process mapping.
