About the role
The role of Senior Cybersecurity and Information Officer plays a critical role in ensuring risks and compliance are managed effectively within a complex technical environment.
You will be responsible for leading and implementing SV's approach to information management and cyber security, ensuring it aligns with Victorian government requirements and is fit for purpose and suits SV's operating environment, taking ownership of the risks within the team and broader IT environment, ensuring they are proactively identified, mitigated, and managed.
About you
Your experience with IT governance and compliance in a dynamic technical environment, coupled with your ability to work proactively and constructively with a fast-moving team, will ensure your success in this position.
Specialist skills/knowledge:
- Proven experience and capability developing and managing information and cyber security strategy and procedures, and information and knowledge management practices
- Demonstrated experience developing and applying governance controls and procedures in a technical environment, preferably using COBIT 5 or similar governance framework
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT are desirable but not mandatory
