THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Venue Manager, as the Cellar Manager at The Locker Room you are responsible for but not limited to:

  • Stock control
  • including ordering/ receiving and stock movements as well as oversee stocktakes
  • Ensuring invoicing and cost controls are up to date and maintained
  • Be responsible for facilitating & upskilling bar back + glassy team in cellar operations as well as fostering team culture and guest relationships
  • Ensuring systems + procedural compliance including cellar cleanliness
  • Staff induction schedules + training
  • Operational compliance audits
  • Ensure WHS compliance
  • General repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring all delivered product is of the highest quality

WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

  • Experienced in hotel and retail stock inventory, including using purchase orders invoices
  • Demonstrate repair and maintenance knowledge
  • Experience in food & beverage stocktake
  • Sound understanding of ordering and budget control
  • Have cellar and beer line maintenance knowledge
  • Strong WHS knowledge
  • Cash handling ability
  • General hotel operation / management experience
  • Support set up and pack down of events held invenue
