What you'll do As an Associate Director you will: Operate in a market-facing and design delivery focused role; Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients; Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works; Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects; Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets; Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally; Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team; Champion own continual professional development and mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers; Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About you The successful candidate we are looking for will have: Proven experience in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of high profile projects as the project leader; Expert knowledge in the application of modelling software and/or analytics techniques and workflows on projects A proven track record in leading large sized multidiscipline projects; Typically 12 to 15+ years' industry experience; Well-developed client facing, business development and account/relationship management skills; The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
