About the Role:

We're currently offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Farm Services Lead to develop our South-East Agronomy team.

This business-critical role will report into our South-East Regional Manager and will provide leadership to a cohesive agronomic team that strives to foster and develop talent.

We are open to receiving applicants across all of Victoria.

You will be responsible for:

  • Proactively developing effective multilevel and multiactivity relationships with key customers across the business, both internal and external.
  • You will promote and develop business growth opportunities by proactively canvassing customers, promoting company services in our business, products and initiatives
  • Maintain effective relationships with other team members through ongoing communication of knowledge and information
  • Promote and represent Nutrien and the South-East Agronomy team at relevant industry meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Manage the performance of supervised employees to ensure they meet their performance objectives
  • Assist with the recruitment drive and campaign for Nutrien's Trainee Agronomists and Graduate Agronomists. You will also assist in the development of succession and career plans.

About you:

To be sucecesful, you will have a strong technical agronomic background.

You will have previous experience of providing on farm technical production advice including crop and paddock rotations, soil & plant analysis, seed variety selection, fertiliser strategies and crop marketing.


You will:

  • Have previous experience in a sales focused farm production advisory role
  • You will demonstrate previous leadership success
  • Current motor vehicle licence and flexibility to travel
  • You will be selfmotivated and driven to implement improvements in all areas of the agronomy function
  • You will demonstrate success developing solid longterm partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders and be able to identify opportunities to develop new business.
