How will I help?


This role purpose is to support the Head of Operational Risk Management Framework to assess, design, uplift and implement policies in response to Prudential Standard CPS 230.

The role will work full time on Westpac's CPS 230 program. It's a max term contract role until Feb 2025.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • You will be setting the direction for framework and policy development, change and implementation in response to CPS 230
  • Implementing and delivering change to framework and policies, including training and communications
  • Reporting and governance related activities related to the CPS 230 program.
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions for continued compliance with CPS230, including but not limited to obligation and controls.
  • Strong understanding of the Operational Risk Framework and the integration of the component parts.

What do I need?
You will have experience with similar regulations implemented in the UK, Asia or US.

You will have 10+years of experience in risk management, operational risk and experience working on CPS 231 (Outsourcing) and CPS 232 (Business Continuity Management).


You will be strong communicator and will bring your exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills including rapport building and influencing skills.
